Fixed Bayonets
''Fixed Bayonets!'' is a 1951 American war film written and directed by Samuel Fuller and produced by Twentieth Century-Fox during the Korean War. It is Fuller's second film about the Korean War. In his motion-picture debut, James Dean appears briefly at the conclusion of the film. Plot The film is set in the first winter of the Korean War during the Korean War#China intervenes (October – December 1950), Red Chinese intervention. The story follows the fate of a lone 48-man platoon left as a rear guard to defend a choke point to cover the withdrawal of their Division (military), division over an exposed bridge. A film poster is a poster used to promote and advertise a film primarily to persuade paying customers into a theater to see it. Studios often print several posters that vary in size and content for various domestic and international markets. They normally contain an image with text. Today's posters often feature printed likenesses of the main actors. Prior to the 1980s, illustrations instead of photos were far more common.
