First Egede Cabinet
The first cabinet of Múte Bourup Egede was the Greenlandic government from 23 April 2021 to 4 April 2022. It was a coalition consisting of the left-wing Inuit Ataqatigiit and the centrist Naleraq. Múte Bourup Egede
Múte Inequnaaluk Bourup Egede (; born 11 March 1987) is a Greenlandic politician currently serving as the seventh prime minister of Greenland, a position he has held since April 2021. He has served as a member of the Inatsisartut, the parliament of Greenland, since 2015, and furthermore as chairman of the Inuit Ataqatigiit party since 2018. Life and career Egede was born in Nuuk but grew up in Narsaq in southern Greenland. He attended high school in Qaqortoq before he in 2007 started studying Cultural and Social History at the University of Greenland. Between 2011 and 2012, he was the vice chairman of ''KISAQ'', the Greenlandic Academic Student Society. He did not finish his studies, as he in 2013 dropped out to take over a family-owned fodder company run by his father. Naaja Nathanielsen
Naaja Nathanielsen (born 6 December 1975) is a Greenlandic politician of the Inuit Ataqatigiit party. She was a member of the Inatsisartut (the Greenlandic parliament) from 2009 to 2016, and was re-elected in 2021. She has been the director of Greenland's department of prisons and probation from 2016, and became minister for natural resources in 2021. In her role as minister for natural resources, she banned uranium mining. She is a feminist, and has spoken against domestic violence in the country. Early life Naaja Nathanielsen was born on 6 December 1975. Career Naaja Nathanielsen served in the Inatsisartut from 2009 to 2016. She was a member of Inuit Ataqatigiit, but became an independent in 2016 before her departure from the legislature; she said she left the party due to not being consulted for policy changes. Pele Broberg
Pele Broberg (born 1972) is a Greenlandic politician (Naleraq), entrepreneur and pilot. He became minister of foreign affairs, trade, climate and business in April 2021, but foreign affairs and climate was transferred to premier of Greenland Múte Bourup Egede in September 2021 after a controversy. Broberg was minister for finance in 2018. Biography Broberg was born in Copenhagen in 1972. His family moved to Greenland while he was an infant and he grew up in Qeqertarsuaq. Broberg graduated from High School in Aasiaat in 1992 and trained as a pilot at SAS Flight Academy in 1995. He then worked as a pilot at Air Greenland 1995-1997 and at Aviation Assistance 1997-1998. From 1999 to 2014 Broberg was captain at Air Greenland. In February 2018, he became a clerk in the Department of Trade and Business, but is on leave while he is minister. Paneeraq Olsen (born 26 December 1958 in Sisimiut) is a Greenlandic politician (Naleraq) and civil servant. She became Minister for Children, Youth and Families in the Egede cabinet in 2021. Political career Paneeraq Olsen was elected to Inatsisartut (the parliament of Greenland) and the municipal council of Qeqqata in the elections in 2021. She received 99 votes in the Inatsisartut election.
