Firehead
''Firehead'' is a 1991 science fiction– thriller film. It was directed by Peter Yuval for Action International Pictures, and stars Chris Lemmon and Christopher Plummer. It was filmed in Mobile, Alabama and released theatrically in 1991. Plot In 1988, a telekinetic Soviet agent known as "Firehead" (Brett Porter) defects to the west after refusing to use his powers against Estonian protesters. Two years later, he begins blowing up American munitions factories for unknown reasons. An NIH chemist (Chris Lemmon) and a government assassin (Gretchen Becker) are ordered to track him down. Meanwhile, a secret society led by Colonel Vaughn (Christopher Plummer) prepares to use Firehead's activities as a pretext for a coup d'état. David Winters (choreographer)
David Winters (April 5, 1939 – April 23, 2019) was an English-born American actor, dancer, choreographer, producer, distributor, director and screenwriter. At a young age, he acted in film and television projects such as ''Lux Video Theatre''; '' Naked City''; ''Mister Peepers''; '' Rock, Rock, Rock''; and ''Roogie's Bump.'' He received some attention in Broadway musicals for his roles in ''West Side Story'' (1957) and ''Gypsy'' (1959). In the film adaptation of ''West Side Story'' (1961) he was one of the few to be re-cast. It became the highest grossing motion picture of that year, and won 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Winters became a dance choreographer. Christopher Boyd Lemmon (born June 22, 1954) is an American actor and author. Early life and education Lemmon was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actress Cynthia Stone and actor Jack Lemmon. Lemmon attended the Verde Valley School in Sedona, Arizona. With a talent for music, he was encouraged by his father to study piano. Lemmon considered playing piano professionally after having graduated from the California Institute of the Arts, with degrees in classical piano and composition, and in theater. Vladimir Horunzhy (born September 19, 1949, in Kyiv) is a film producer and composer, a well-known jazz musician. Graduated from a Special music school at Kyiv Music Conservatory. His first composition was written at the age of 12. In the '70s led the Pop-Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Television of Ukraine. From 1977 to 1981 lived and worked in Hungary. Moved to the U.S. in 1981. The first project, which he participated in as a composer there, was the famous daytime soap opera “Santa Barbara”. An active jazz musician, Vladimir performed at Soviet jazz festivals in Tallinn, Moscow, Donetsk, and throughout the Soviet Union. Kevin Wagner Murphy (born November 3, 1956) is an American actor and writer best known as the voice and puppeteer of Tom Servo on the Peabody Award-winning comedy series ''Mystery Science Theater 3000''.
