Finsk Kvinnoförening
The Finnish Women's Association (, ) is a Finnish women's rights organisation. It was founded in 1884, and is the oldest women's movement organisation in Finland. The organization was the publisher of a women's magazine, ''Koti ja Yhteiskunta'' (1889–1911), which was edited by Alexandra Gripenberg. It is a member of the International Alliance of Women, that has general consultative status with the United Nations. The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL, fi, Terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitos, sv, Institutet för hälsa och välfärd; until 2019, National Institute for Health and Welfare) is a Finnish research and development institute operating under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. THL was formed on 1 January 2009, with the merger of the National Public Health Institute of Finland (KTL) and the . It is the biggest expert organisation under the ministry and its most important source of consultation regarding scientific knowledge. Scope of THL THL's scope of activity includes both public health and social welfare.
