The Finnmark Fotballkrets ''(Finnmark Football Association)'' is one of the 18 district organisations of the Norwegian Football Federation. It administers lower tier football in Finnmark county. Alta (town)
Alta ( se, Áltá; fkv, Alattio; fi, Alattio) is a town in Alta Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of the municipality and the major commercial centre in the western part of the county. The town is located on the southern end of Altafjorden at the mouth of the river Altaelva. There are several suburbs around the town. Kåfjord, Kvenvik, and Jiepmaluokta lie to the west; Øvre Alta and Tverrelvdalen lie to the south; and Rafsbotn lies to the east. The famous rock carvings at Alta lie just to the west of the town. The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football (soccer), football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the Norway national football team, men's and Norway women's national football team, women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien (football), Eliteserien and Toppserien). Finnmark
Finnmark (; se, Finnmárku ; fkv, Finmarku; fi, Ruija ; russian: Финнмарк) was a county in the northern part of Norway, and it is scheduled to become a county again in 2024. On 1 January 2020, Finnmark was merged with the neighbouring county of Troms to form the new Troms og Finnmark county. Alta IF
Alta Idrettsforening is a sports club from Alta, Norway. The club is most known for its association football department, which played in the 1. divisjon until 2014. Alta currently plays in 2. divisjon, the third tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was newly promoted for the 2008 season; its last stint up to that time in the division came in 2005, when they finished last. The team finished 14th in the 2009 season. In 2012 a new relegation came after finishing last once again. It took them only one year to come back. Bossekop UL
Bossekop Ungdomslag is a Norwegian sports club from Bossekop, Alta, Finnmark. It has sections for association football, team handball, speed skating and Nordic skiing. It was founded on 25 July 1912 as a youth association. A sports team within Bossekop UL (cf IL i BUL) was founded in 1958. The club practiced athletics from 1960, speed skating from 1961, football from 1967, handball from 1973, skiing since 1980 and biathlon since 1991. Some sections later became defunct.
