Filippo De Pisis
Filippo De Pisis (11 May 1896 – 2 April 1956) was an Italian painter and poet. Biography He was born Luigi Filippo Tibertelli in Ferrara. Oxford University Press. In 1919 he moved to Rome, where he started to paint. He published a collection of his writings, ''La città dalle 100 meraviglie'', in 1920. De Pisis is best known for his cityscapes, metaphysically-inspired maritime scenes, and still lifes, especially those depicting flowers. Villa Scotti-Cornaglia-Noseda-Bertani, commonly known as Villa Fiorita, is a building in Lombardy, Italy, where the Brugherio Comune's headquarters are housed. History Villa Fiorita is a historic aristocratic urban mansion with an L-shape layout. An extension overlooks the old town through a wrought iron railing, supported by Baroque architecture, late baroque Pier (architecture), pillars, forming the main entrance. The rear entrance faces a large park leading to the :it:Chiesa di San Bartolomeo (Brugherio), church square. The mansion, built in 1721, was an "aristocratic house" with Shell (structure), shells and a garden. The Verzocchi collection or the Galleria Verzocchi - work in contemporary painting is a collection of over seventy 20th-century Italian paintings formed by the entrepreneur Giuseppe Verzocchi from 1949 to 1950. Brugherio
Brugherio (; in lmo, Brughee ) is a '' comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Monza and Brianza in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan. It was established December 9, 1866 unifying the suppressed municipalities of Baraggia, San Damiano and Moncucco (which nowadays are ''frazioni'' of Brugherio), together with the villages of Bindellera, Cesena, Gelosa, San Paolo, Torazza, Occhiate and Increa. Brugherio borders the following municipalities: Monza, Agrate Brianza, Carugate, Sesto San Giovanni, Cologno Monzese, Cernusco sul Naviglio.
