''Correctio filialis de haeresibus propagatis'' (Latin: "Filial correction concerning propagated heresies") is an August 11, 2017 petition initially by 62 critics of Pope Francis, who argued that the pope propagated heresies, with regard to seven theological issues the authors identified in ''Amoris laetitia'', an apostolic exhortation by Pope Francis dated March 29, 2016 and in other related statements. The authors released the twenty-five page document to the public on September 24, 2017, stating they had received no response from the Holy See. Latin
Latin (, or , ) is a classical language belonging to the Italic branch of the Indo-European languages. Society Of Saint Pius X
The Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) ( la, Fraternitas Sacerdotalis Sancti Pii X; FSSPX) is an international fraternity of traditionalist Catholic priests founded in 1970 by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, a leading traditionalist voice at the Second Vatican Council with the , and Superior General of the Holy Ghost Fathers until 1968. The society was initially established as a pious union of the Catholic Church with the permission of François Charrière, the Bishop of Lausanne, Geneva and Fribourg in Switzerland. In 2022, the society reached over 700 priestly members. The society is named after Pope Pius X, whose anti-Modernist stance the society stresses, retaining the Tridentine Mass and pre-Vatican II liturgical books in Latin for the other sacraments. St Benet's Hall, Oxford
St Benet's Hall (known colloquially as Benet's) was a permanent private hall (PPH) of the University of Oxford, originally a Roman Catholic religious house of studies. It closed down in 2022. The principal building was located at the northern end of St Giles' on its western side, close to the junction with Woodstock Road, Oxford. Alexander Joseph Ranald Shaw (born 1971) is an English philosopher. He serves chairman of the Latin Mass Society, an organisation devoted to propagation of the Catholic Church's Tridentine Mass, and as president of ''Una Voce''. Shaw is the son of the late Thomas Shaw, 3rd Baron Craigmyle (1923–1998) and Anthea Craigmyle (née Rich) (1933–2016). He was educated at Ampleforth College and the University of Oxford.
