The men's single skating competition of the 2010 Winter Olympics was held at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The short program was held on February 16, 2010 and the free skating was held on February 18, 2010. The medals for the competition were presented by Vitali Smirnov, Russian Federation; IOC Member, and the medalists' bouquets were presented by Phyllis Howard, United States; ICU Council Member. Pacific Coliseum
Pacific Coliseum, known to locals as "The Coliseum" or the "Rink on Renfrew," is an indoor arena located at Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its main use has been for ice hockey and the arena has been the home for several ice hockey teams. The arena was the home of the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League (WHL), from 2001 to 2016. Other hockey tenants of the Pacific Coliseum have been the Vancouver Canucks (Western Hockey League) from 1968 to 1970, Vancouver Canucks (National Hockey League) from 1970 to 1995, the Vancouver Nats (WHL) from 1972 to 1973, the Vancouver Blazers (World Hockey Association) from 1973 to 1975, and the Vancouver Voodoo (Roller Hockey International) from 1994 to 1995. Jiang Yibing
Jiang Yibing (born February 17, 1970) is a Chinese figure skater. She represented China at the 1988 Winter Olympics, where she placed 25th. She also competed at the 1985 World Figure Skating Championships, where she placed 23rd. Following her retirement from competitive skating, she served as an international and ISU Judge, and as an ISU Technical Specialist for China. After coaching for many years in China, she moved to Canada and began coaching there in March 2007 under the name Jennifer Jiang. She began coaching Mira Leung Mira Leung (born March 28, 1989) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater.
