Hamar Olympic Amphitheatre
CC Amfi, also known as Nordlyshallen ("The Northern Light Hall"), is an indoor sports arena in Hamar, Norway. It is mostly used for ice hockey and is the home arena of Storhamar Hockey. It has also been used for short track speed skating, figure skating, handball, events and concerts. The venue has a capacity for 7,000 spectators and was built for the 1994 Winter Olympics, where it was used for short track speed skating and figure skating. Other major events held at the arena include the 1999 IIHF World Championship in ice hockey, the 1999 World Women's Handball Championship, the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships and the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. Construction of CC Amfi started in August 1991 and it was inaugurated on 25 November 1992, with construction costing 83 million Norwegian krone (NOK). Igor Yaroshenko
Igor Yaroshenko (born 11 April 1967) is a Ukrainian former competitive ice dancer who competed for the Soviet Union before its dissolution and for Ukraine afterward. With Irina Romanova, he is the 1996 European bronze medalist. They placed seventh at the 1994 Winter Olympics and ninth at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Their highest placement at the World Figure Skating Championships was fourth, in 1994. They were coached by Natalia Linichuk and Gennadi Karponosov. Romanova and Yaroshenko were married in 1991 and have a son, Nikita. Juris Razgulajevs, sometimes spelled ''Yuri Razguliaiev'', (born March 20, 1973) is a Canadian ice dancing coach and former competitor who represented the Soviet Union, Latvia, Uzbekistan, and Japan. He is the 1991 World Junior champion with partner Aliki Stergiadu for the Soviet Union. Personal life Razgulajevs was born on March 20, 1973, in Riga, Latvia. He moved to the United States in 1995 and then to Canada in 1999. His wife is named Irina. Their son, Dmitre Razgulajevs, was born on November 19, 1996, in Boston and competes in ice dancing for Canada. Their second son, Alexie, was born in 2000 and plays hockey. Aliki Stergiadu (born 5 October 1972) is a former competitive ice dancer. She is the 1991 World Junior champion with Juris Razgulajevs for the Soviet Union. Personal life Stergiadu was born on 5 October 1972 in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union. She lived in Elektrostal, Russia until she took a coaching position in Skellefteå, Sweden in 2006. She married Lennart "Lelle" Erinder in September 2012 in Skellefteå. Career Stergiadu began skating at age five. Povilas Vanagas (; born 23 July 1970) is a Lithuanian ice dancer. With his wife Margarita Drobiazko, he is the 2000 World bronze medalist, a three-time Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, a two-time European bronze medalist (2000, 2006), the 1999 Skate Canada champion, and competed in five Winter Olympics, finishing as high as 5th. Career Vanagas began skating at age three. His mother, Lilija Vanagiene, was Lithuania's national skating coach. Vanagas won six national titles in men's singles. At age 18, he was drafted into the Soviet Union army and sent to Moscow, Russian SFSR. Given a choice between becoming a soldier or skating full-time, Vanagas chose to become an ice dancer. Victor Kraatz, (born April 7, 1971) is a Canadian former ice dancer. In 2003, he and his partner, Shae-Lynn Bourne, became the first North American ice dancers to win a World Championship. Shae-Lynn Bourne (born January 24, 1976) is a Canadian ice dancer and choreographer. In 2003, she and partner Victor Kraatz became the first North American ice dancers to win a World Championship. They competed at three Winter Olympic Games, placing 10th at the 1994 Winter Olympics, 4th at the 1998 Winter Olympics, and 4th at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Since retiring from competitive skating, she has become a renowned choreographer, choreographing programs for Olympic champions Yuzuru Hanyu and Nathan Chen, and World Champions including Evgenia Medvedeva. Hendryk Schamberger (born 11 May 1968) is a German former competitive ice dancer. With Jennifer Goolsbee, he is a four-time German national champion and placed ninth at the 1994 Winter Olympics. Personal life Hendryk Schamberger was born to the German former ice dancers Martha and Hans-Jürgen Schamberger. He studied medicine at university during and after the end of his figure skating career. His main profession is orthopedic physician.
