Fernando Tocornal
Fernando Tocornal Linares (born 26 June 1961) is a Spanish former professional association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), centre back, or occasionally a midfielder. Career Tocornal was born in Laredo, Cantabria, Laredo in the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Cantabria, but began his career in the youth teams of Asturias, Asturian club Sporting de Gijón. Laredo, Cantabria
Laredo () is a town in the autonomous community of Cantabria. According to the 2008 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 12,648 inhabitants. In addition to Laredo, the municipality includes the villages of La Arenosa, El Callejo, Las Cárcobas, Las Casillas, La Pesquera, Tarrueza and Villante. Except from the last two, the other villages had been physically integrated into Laredo. Located between the cities of Santander and Bilbao, Laredo is known in the region and nationally for "''La Salvé''", its 5 km long beach (7 km at high tide) and for the historic part of town dating back to Roman times. The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Segunda División, commercially known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, is the men's second professional association football division of the Spanish football league system. Copa De La Liga
The Copa de la Liga (League Cup in Spanish) was a Spanish football tournament created in 1982. Due to time constraints, saturation and club pressure, the competition only lasted four years, being cancelled in 1986. Winning the trophy helped two clubs to complete cup doubles: FC Barcelona with the Copa del Rey (1983) and Real Madrid with the UEFA Cup (1985). In all four finals, the team that played the second leg at home won the trophy. Format The League Cup was a straight knock-out competition. All ties were played over two legs, home and away, with the team with the largest aggregate score progressing. The final also consisted of two games. If the aggregate score was tied after two legs of ninety minutes each, extra-time would be played. If that failed to separate the teams, a penalty shootout would determine the winner. San Mamés Stadium ( es, Estadio San Mamés ; also known as ''La Catedral'' , "The Cathedral"), was a football stadium in Bilbao, Biscay, Spain. The stadium was the home of Athletic Bilbao, known as ''Los Leones de San Mamés''-''Bilboko lehoiak'' (The Lions of San Mamés).
