Fernando Daniel Martínez (born 18 July 1991) is an Argentine boxer who has held the IBF super flyweight title since 2022. Amateur career He competed in the men's flyweight event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Professional career Early career Martínez made his professional debut against Juan Ignacio Haran on 25 August 2017. He won the fight by a fourth-round stoppage. Martínez amassed a 10–0 record during the next two years, with six victories coming by way of stoppage. Martínez had his first step-up fight on 16 December 2019, as he was scheduled to challenge the reigning WBC Silver super flyweight champion Athenkosi Dumezweni. Super flyweight, also referred to as junior bantamweight, is a boxing weight classes, weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . History The first title match in this division was in 1980, when the World Boxing Council responded to pressure from Asian and Latin American members who felt the difference between the flyweight limit and the bantamweight limit was too significant. Jerwin Juntilla Ancajas (born 1 January 1992) is a Filipino professional boxer. He held the IBF junior-bantamweight title from 2016 to 2022. The Dignity Health Sports Park is a tennis center in Carson, Los Angeles, California, United States. It is adjacent to the soccer stadium of the same name, which is home to the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer (MLS). The venue hosted the LA Women's Tennis Championships, a WTA Premier tournament, from 2003 to 2009. During the 2028 Summer Olympics, the venue will host the tennis competition.
