Ferhat Encü
Ferhat Encü (born 5 August 1985) is a Kurdish–Turkish politician and former member of the Turkish Parliament in the Sirnak Province. Encü is well known for a speech that he gave on the floor of the Parliament in Ankara. In his speech, Encü criticized the Turkish government for their violence and mistreatment of the Kurds. After delivering the speech, Encü was arrested and stripped of his parliamentary immunity. Early life Encü was born on August 5, 1985, in the village of Gülyazı in Uludere district of the Sirnak Province in Turkey. He attended and graduated from high school in Turkey and speaks Kurdish at a very high level. In 2009, Encü began to study at the Çukurova University in Adana, Turkey, but took a break from education in order to focus on speaking for the victims of the Roboski airstrike after 2011. Ferhat Tunç Yoslun (born 14 March 1964) is a singer of Kurdish descent. Ferhat Tunç was born in 1964 in the city of Tunceli in Turkey's eastern province of Tunceli. With twelve years he stood for the first time on stage as a singer. In the late 1970s with sixteen years, he followed his father to Germany. He returned to Turkey in 1985 and began to engage himself in favor of Kurdish rights. Ferhad Pasha Sokolović
Ferhad Pasha Sokolović ( tr, Sokollu Ferhad Paşa, sh, Ferhad-paša Sokolović) (died 1586) was an Ottoman general and statesman from Bosnia. He was the last sanjak-bey of Bosnia and first beylerbey of Bosnia. Origin Born into the Sokolović family, he was, like his close relative Grand Vizier Sokollu Mehmed Pasha (Mehmed-paša Sokolović) abducted as part of the ''devşirme'' system of collection of Christian boys to be raised to serve in the janissary corps, Islamized and recruited into Ottoman service. While one part of the family became Islamized, the other stayed Christian; notably, another relative (possibly Mehmed's brother), Makarije Sokolović, was appointed as a Serbian Patriarch by Mehmed Pasha, who with the support of the Sultan had revived the Patriarchate of Peć. Ferhat Kaya (born 11 March 1986) is a Belgian professional footballer of Kurdish descent who plays as a goalkeeper for Belgian Division 3 club Beringen. Career Kaya was born in Beringen, Belgian Limburg, and started playing football at the Westerlo youth academy. Via Verbroedering Geel, he moved to the PSV Eindhoven academy in 2003. After having played there for two years, Kaya left for Turkish club Gaziantepspor. Ferhat Arıcan
Ferhat Arıcan (born 28 July 1993) is a Turkish male artistic gymnast. He represented Turkey at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. At the 2020 Olympic Games he became the first Turkish gymnast to win an Olympic medal, winning bronze on the parallel bars. Personal life Arıcan was born in Konak, İzmir in 1993. He took up gymnastics when he was 9–10 years old. He studied sports administration at Ege University. Ferhat Görgülü (born 28 October 1991) is a Dutch professional footballer of Turkish descent who plays as a defender for Arnavutköy Belediyespor in the Turkish TFF Second League. Career Görgülü was born in Veendam, Groningen, Netherlands to parents of Turkish origin. There, he began playing football in the youth department of Veendam in 1894 and then progressed through the academies of SC Heerenveen and BV Veendam. In the summer of 2010, he was promoted to the first team of Veendam competing in the second-tier Eerste Divisie. In his first season, Görgülü made three league appearances. Ferhat Bey Draga (1880–1944) was a noted Kosovo Albanian politician during the Balkan Wars and World War I and Axis collaborator during World War II. Biography Ferhat Draga was born in Kosovska Mitrovica, Ottoman Empire. He was the brother of Nexhip Draga, another politician mostly known as co-founder of the Džemijet party. Ferhat was educated in Istanbul, where he was active together with his brother Nexhip in the movement for the Albanian writings and schools. He supported the Latin script for writing the Albanian language.
