Ferhat Encü
Ferhat Encü (born 5 August 1985) is a Kurdish–Turkish politician and former member of the Turkish Parliament in the Sirnak Province. Encü is well known for a speech that he gave on the floor of the Parliament in Ankara. In his speech, Encü criticized the Turkish government for their violence and mistreatment of the Kurds. After delivering the speech, Encü was arrested and stripped of his parliamentary immunity. Early life Encü was born on August 5, 1985, in the village of Gülyazı in Uludere district of the Sirnak Province in Turkey. He attended and graduated from high school in Turkey and speaks Kurdish at a very high level. In 2009, Encü began to study at the Çukurova University in Adana, Turkey, but took a break from education in order to focus on speaking for the victims of the Roboski airstrike after 2011. Peoples' Democratic Party (Turkey)
The Peoples' Democratic Party ( Turkish: ''Halkların Demokratik Partisi'', acronymized as HDP; Kurdish: ''Partiya Demokratîk a Gelan''), or Democratic Party of the Peoples, is a pro- minority political party in Turkey. Kurdistan Workers' Party
The Kurdistan Workers' Party or PKK is a Kurdish militant political organization and armed guerrilla movement, which historically operated throughout Kurdistan, but is now primarily based in the mountainous Kurdish-majority regions of southeastern Turkey and northern Iraq. Since 1984, the PKK has utilized asymmetric warfare in the Kurdish–Turkish conflict (with several ceasefires between 1993 and 2013–2015). Although the PKK once sought an independent Kurdish state, in the 1990s its aims shifted toward autonomy and increased rights for Kurds within Turkey. Duvar is an online news portal launched on the 8 August 2016 and focuses mainly on Turkish politics. Duvar's headquarters are located in Sariyer Istanbul, and it was founded by Vedat Zencir. its current editor-in-chief is Ali Duran Topuz and it is described to be reporting critical on the Turkish Government. Bekir Şahin (born 1 March 1960, Mecitözü, Turkey) is a jurist, former judge and the current State Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation in Turkey.
