Feng Chia University
Feng Chia University (FCU; ) is a private research university in Taiwan, located in Taichung. It was named after Chiu Feng-Chia one of the leaders of the military resistance against the Japanese invasion of Taiwan in 1895. Feng Chia University has partnership with Purdue University, RMIT University, University of Zaragoza, and San Jose State University. History In 1961, the Feng Chia College of Engineering and Business was established on Guanyin Mountain in Beitun District of Taichung City. Two years later, it was moved to its present location in Xitun District in central Taiwan. The school was granted university status in 1980 and its name changed to Feng Chia University (FCU). In 2008, the APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology was established on the FCU campus. Phil Chang (; Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: Chong Yí, born 30 April 1967) is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, television presenter and actor. By the time he graduated from Feng Chia University in Financial Services, he was already known as an accomplished folk singer, pianist and guitar-player. He issued his first album, ''Walking the Wind'', in 1992, and achieved success with his second, ''Well-intentioned'', in 1993. Legislative Yuan
The Legislative Yuan is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of China (Taiwan) located in Taipei. The Legislative Yuan is composed of 113 members, who are directly elected for 4-year terms by people of the Taiwan Area through a parallel voting system. Originally located in Nanking, the Legislative Yuan, along with the National Assembly (electoral college) and the Control Yuan (upper house), formed the tricameral parliament under the original 1947 Constitution. Hsu Shu-hua (; born 15 October 1975) is a Taiwanese politician, serving as a legislator representing Nantou County as a Kuomintang (KMT) member.
