''Femina'' is a Danish language weekly women's magazine, magazine for women published by Aller Media in Copenhagen, Denmark. The magazine also has a Swedish edition. History and profile ''Femina'' began in its current form in 1952 and is a continuation of illustrated fashion journal ''Nordisk Mønster Tidende'' (1874–1952), making it the oldest weekly magazine in Denmark. ''Femina'' is part of Aller Media and is published by Aller Press AS. The magazine has its headquarters in Copenhagen. Camilla Lindemann has been editor since March 2005. ''Femina'' was a women's magazine that was published in South Africa from 1982 to 2010. It was marketed toward older women, and for a time it was one of the leading special-interest magazines in South Africa. In the late 2000s the magazine was affected by the Great Recession, but they were also struggling to compete in the market—partially owing to the proliferation of localised editions of international magazines. It ceased publication in March 2010 due to a decrease in both sales and advertising revenue. The April 2010 issue was the final one. ''Femina'' was originally published by Republican Press in Durban. Associated Magazines in Cape Town acquired ''Femina'' in the late 1980s, and published their first issue in April 1988. Fémina is an Argentine folk and fusion trio from San Martín de los Andes, Argentina. Career In 2004, friends Clara Miglioli and Sofía "Toti" Trucco formed Fémina in San Martín de los Andes, Argentina. The trio's name Fémina means female in Latin. The trio chose the name because they liked its sound and message. Band member Toti elaborated "there were not too many female rappers. It was a way to represent our girl." Miglioli met the Trucco sisters when she was four years old. After completing high school, the duo moved to Buenos Aires at the age of 19. They were later joined by Toti's younger sister Clara "Wewi" Trucco on percussion. There, they met and became friends with other rappers including Koxmoz and Apolo MC. In addition to music, both Miglioli and the Trucco sisters have a background in acting and vocal training. Fémina has toured in Latin America, Europe, and the United States. Paulo Furtado (born 9 September 1970) is a Portuguese singer-songwriter who performs under the stage name The Legendary Tigerman. Furtado started his music career in the lates 1980s when he joined the psychobilly band Tédio Boys. After leaving Tédio Boys, Furtado founded in 2000 the blues rock band Wraygunn. In 2002, he began releasing solo music under the alias The Legendary Tigerman. The Legendary Tigerman started out as a one-man band project, where Furtado would accompany his singing with guitar, harmonica and drums alone on stage.
