Felipe Giménez
Felipe Ariel Giménez Miranda (born 26 May 1981) is a Paraguayan football manager and former player who played as a left back. He is the current manager of 2 de Mayo. Playing career Born in Asunción, Giménez was an Olimpia youth graduate. After a loan stint to 12 de Octubre in 2001, he returned to his parent club before joining Cerro Porteño in 2004. In 2005, Giménez moved abroad for the first time in his career and signed for Argentine Primera División side Newell's Old Boys. After just one friendly match, he returned to his home country in the following year with GuaranÃ, but suffered a knee injury in October 2006. Giménez subsequently featured for 3 de Febrero (two stints), 12 de Octubre, Sportivo Trinidense, Sportivo Patria, Independiente FBC, Fernando de la Mora and Deportivo Capiatá. Asunción (, , , Guarani: Paraguay) is the capital and the largest city of Paraguay. Club General DÃaz (Luque)
General DÃaz Football Club is a Paraguayan football club from Luque that currently plays in the División Intermedia. Founded in 1917, it plays at the Estadio General Adrián Jara in Luque. The club's name came from José Eduvigis DÃaz, a Paraguayan general. History The club was founded on September 22, 1917. In 2004, the club finished as runner-up of the Tercera División, but only one club was available for promotion at that time. In 2006, they were runner-up again, but this time they were able to be promoted to the Segunda Division (Intermedia). The División Intermedia ( en, Intermediate Division), also known as the Segunda División ( en, Second Division), is the second tier professional football league in Paraguay. It is organized by the Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol. Overview Since 1910 the second division tournaments have changed rules, number of teams and names. Humberto Jesús Ovelar Rojas (born 24 December 1969) is a Paraguayan football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current manager of General Caballero JLM. Playing career Ovelar was born in Juan León MallorquÃn, and made his senior debut with Cerro Porteño in 1987, aged 18. He subsequently represented River Plate Asunción and Tembetary before returning to Cerro in 1996, but moved abroad in 1997 with Colombian side Deportivo Pereira. In 1998, after a short period back at Cerro, Ovelar retired at the age of just 28. Coaching career Immediately after retiring, Ovelar remained at his last club Cerro Porteño as an assistant manager.
