Feelplus
Feelplus Inc. (株式会社フィールプラス Kabushiki gaisha Fiirupurasu) was a Japanese video game developer and a subsidiary of AQ Interactive. The studio was conceived by Microsoft Game Studios specifically to aid Mistwalker in video game development. It was founded by former UPL employees including Tsutomu Fujisawa as on May 1, 1992. Former employees of Nautilus and Square Enix later joined in. By September 2002, '' Cavia'' (later to become ''AQ Interactive'') bought the company. In May 2005, it became a fully owned subsidiary and ''Scarab'' changed its name to ''Feelplus Inc.'' On August 2010, Feelplus Inc., Artoon and Cavia were absorbed into AQ Interactive. Nautilus (video Game Developer)
renamed in 2002, was a Japanese video game developer based in Tokyo. The company was founded in April 1997 by Hiroki Kikuta with funding from SNK; its staff, including Kikuta, were veterans of Square. While their first releases were the ''Dive Alert'' games for the Neo Geo Pocket Color (NGPC), the company was founded to produce ''Koudelka'', a role-playing video game for the PlayStation. The development of ''Koudelka'' was troubled due to creative differences between Kikuta and the rest of the staff, with Kikuta resigning as CEO following the game's release and being replaced by Jun Mihara. The company also released the NGPC game ''Faselei!''. Following ''Koudelka'', the company went on to develop the first game in the ''Shadow Hearts'' series. Lost Odyssey
is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Feelplus and planned by Mistwalker for the Xbox 360. It was published by Microsoft Game Studios in 2007 in Japan and 2008 in western territories. The story follows Kaim, one of a select group of " immortals" who have lost their memories: while confronting threats generated by the world's approaching magical industrial revolution, he must also face the pain brought by his returning memories. The gameplay features many staples of the genre, such as navigation using a world map, random encounters, and a turn-based battle system. First discussions surrounding ''Lost Odyssey'' began in 2003, with development beginning the following year as an internal Microsoft project. Mistwalker
is an independent video game development studio. The company was founded in July 2004 by Hironobu Sakaguchi, best known for his work at Square including creating the ''Final Fantasy'' series. The company has created both game franchises such as '' Blue Dragon'' and '' Terra Battle'', and standalone titles including '' Lost Odyssey'' (2007) and '' The Last Story'' (2011). Artoon
Artoon Co., Ltd. (株式会社アートゥーン Kabushiki-Gaisha Ātūn) was a Japanese video game developer established in 1999. It became a subsidiary of AQ Interactive in May 2004 and became a wholly owned subsidiary in June 2005. The team was primarily affiliated in the United States with Microsoft Xbox and Xbox 360 projects, although they had also worked with Hudson Soft and Nintendo on other platforms. Key Artoon personnel include Yoji Ishii, Manabu Kusunoki, Hidetoshi Takeshita, Yutaka Sugano, Masamichi Harada, Takuya Matsumoto and Naoto Ohshima. ''Ju-On: The Grudge'', known in Japan as , is a survival horror video game developed for the Wii. It was produced in honor of the ''Ju-On'' series' 10th anniversary. The game was directed by Takashi Shimizu, who also helmed the films. AQ Interactive, Inc. was a Japanese video game developer and publisher. AQ stands for Artistic Quality. It was the parent company of the developers Artoon, Cavia and feelplus, and most recently the U.S. publisher Xseed Games. The game was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 18, 2011 in North America, January 21, 2011 in Europe, January 27, 2011 in Japan and February 10, 2011 in Australia.
