''Feel Young'' is a monthly josei manga magazine published by Shodensha in Japan. Manga artists whose stories have run in this magazine include Moyoco Anno, Mitsue Aoki, Mitsukazu Mihara, Kiriko Nananan, Mari Okazaki, Erica Sakurazawa, Ebine Yamaji, and others. Profile and relevance The magazine was first published in 1989. When the magazine emerged in the late 1980s, it was part of a new wave of josei magazines like Young Rose and Cutie Comics, publishing manga like the ones of Kyoko Okazaki that distanced themselves from the soap-opera "Ladies Comics" of the 1980s and kept more elements of shōjo manga in their style. The manga was serialized in Shodensha's ''josei'' manga magazine ''Feel Young'' from 1999 to 2000, and collected in a single volume released on February 22, 2001. The manga was licensed for a North American release by Tokyopop, which released the manga on September 9, 2003. The manga was licensed in Germany by Tokyopop Germany and in France by Kana. Adaptations Sakurazawa's earlier work ''Angel'' and this manga, ''Angel Nest'' were adapted into a live action film titled . Doll (manga)
is a science fiction ''josei'' (targeted towards women) manga by Mitsukazu Mihara. Appearing as a serial in the Japanese manga magazine ''Feel Young'' from 1998 to 2002, the thirty-three chapters of ''Doll'' were collected into six bound volumes by Shodensha and published from August 2000 to August 2002. Taking place in the future, the plot focuses on relationships between people and the eponymous androids; the series has an overarching plot that follows an illegal reprogrammer of Dolls and his revenge against the corporation which creates them. One of the characters, the corporation that manufactures the Dolls, and the concept of the Dolls appeared earlier in Mihara's short manga (1995), later collected in ''IC in a Sunflower'' (1997). Maki Kusumoto ( jap. 楠本まき, Kusumoto Maki, July 15, 1967, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese manga artist. Early life Kusumoto started her manga art work at the early age of 16. Following a two year break from drawing to study for her entrance exams to university, she studied philosophy at the Ochanomizu Women's University in Tokyo. She eventually quit her studies there to make time for her manga work. She takes some of her inspiration from her studies of philosophy and the work of British illustrator Aubrey Beardsley said to have worked closely with Oscar Wilde. is an 11-volume manga series created by Moyoko Anno. Translated by Shirley Kubo and Leah Ginsberg, the English version was published in paperback by TokyoPop in 2003 and 2004. It was one of Tokyopop's first "Mature" rated series, and was sold in shrink wrap on US store shelves.
