Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B is commonly referred to as the Brasileirão Série B (Série B), and until 2022 was officially called Brasileirão Sportingbet by sponsorship reasons. It is the second tier of the Brazilian football league system. Although not having been played annually since its founding in 1971, the competition format has changed almost every season. Juazeiro Do Norte
Juazeiro do Norte is a city in the state of Ceará state in northeastern Brazil. It is located 491 km south of the state capital Fortaleza in the semiarid sertão. The municipality has a population of 276,264 (2020 official estimate) and covers 248 km². Crato, Ceará
Crato is a city of 130,000 inhabitants on the banks of the river Granjeiro in the south of the state of Ceará, in the northeast of Brazil. It was founded on June 21, 1764 by the Capuchin friar Carlos Maria de Ferrara. Originally it was a small village in which the population were principally native Kariris, it gained official status as a city on October 17, 1817. The Brazilian city of Crato was named in honor to Crato, a Portuguese town which was founded in the 13th century. Campeonato Brasileiro Série D
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D) is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on April 9, 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D was formed from the split of the Série C, keeping its best 20 clubs and playing double round robin as does the top three divisions. The Série D keeps the same format of the older Série C, but with participation limited to 40 clubs recognized by the state federation. In 2016 the Série D was expanded to 68 clubs, but in 2022 it will be reduced to 64 clubs. Floresta Esporte Clube, simply known as Floresta, is a football (soccer) club from Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. Founded in 1954, it currently plays in the Campeonato Cearense Série B and Campeonato Brasileiro série C. History Founded in 1954, the club only joined the regional championships in 2015, playing in the third division of the Campeonato Cearense and immediately achieving promotion to the second level as runners-up. After two years in the second division, the club finished second in 2017 and achieved promotion to the first tier. In the 2017 Copa Fares Lopes, the club was crowned champions and earned a place in the 2018 Copa do Brasil.
