Fecó Balázs
Fecó Balázs (born Ferenc Balázs; Budapest, 2 March 1951 – 26 November 2020) was a Hungarian singer, songwriter, and keyboardist and the founder of popular Hungarian rock band Korál. Biography Balázs was born in Budapest and attended a music high school in his hometown. He created an orchestra already while learning, and in 1967 he joined the pop band Neoton Família (then simply called Neoton). In 1972 he left Neoton and co-founded the band Taurus EX-T 25 75 82, Hungary's first hard rock band and one of the country's first supergroups as its keyboardist and singer. After releasing two singles and unable to convince record label Hungaroton to record an album, Taurus broke up in 1973 and Balázs spent two years abroad. He returned to Hungary in 1976 and joined the backing band of singer Zsuzsa Koncz. In 1978 he founded the rock band Korál, which became one of Hungary's most popular rock bands in the 1980s and toured abroad in Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union. ... Kossuth Prize
The Kossuth Prize ( hu, Kossuth-díj) is a state-sponsored award in Hungary, named after the Hungarian politician and revolutionist Lajos Kossuth. The Prize was established in 1948 (on occasion of the centenary of the March 15th revolution, the day on which it is still handed over every year) by the Hungarian National Assembly, to acknowledge outstanding personal and group achievements in the fields of science, culture and the arts, as well as in the building of socialism in general. In 1950s the award was given to Gabor Bela Fodor for his contributions in the field of Chemistry as the prize was given to selected scientists. Index.hu is a Hungarian news website covering both Hungarian and international news. In 2018, it was the most visited Hungarian website with an average of 1.5 million daily readers. While most of the website's articles are written in Hungarian, Index also publishes several articles in English every week. History 1995 to 1999: Internetto Index's predecessor, Internetto (often stylised as iNteRNeTTo) was founded in 1995 by Hungarian sociologist András Nyírő who also served as the website's first editor-in-chief. Internetto quickly rose to popularity, reaching 2000 readers a day by the summer of 1996, largely due to the website's coverage of IT-related news. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
