''Fateless'' (stylised in all caps) is the fifth studio album by Japanese rock band Coldrain. Recorded at Studio Barbarosa in Orlando, Florida with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette, it was released on October 11, 2017 by Warner Music. ''Fateless'' is the first Coldrain album to be released under the label of Warner Music Japan, following leaving Hopeless Records towards the backend of 2016, and also the first to not be released under the Japanese label VAP. This would be the follow-up since 2015's '' Vena'', and be their second highest charting album on the Oricon Albums Chart, debuting and peaking at number 8, only behind '' The Revelation'' which peaked at number 7. The album was home to three singles, "Envy", the lead single, which was released in the beginning of August, "Feed The Fire", on the 21st of the following month, as well as being the opening theme of the anime ''King's Game'', and "R.I.P." in October, just three days after the release of ''Fateless''. Coldrain
are a Japanese Rock music, rock band from Nagoya, Japan, who were formed in 2007. The band combines melodic singing with screams typical of the post-hardcore genre. Although the band is Japanese, all of their songs are written in English. The lineup consists of lead vocalist Masato Hayakawa, guitarists Ryo Yokochi (Y.K.C.) and Kazuya Sugiyama (Sugi), bassist Ryo Shimizu (RxYxO) and drummer Katsuma Minatani. Hayakawa has a Japanese father and an American mother and speaks both Japanese and English fluently. The band's first two albums, ''Final Destination (album), Final Destination'' and ''The Enemy Inside (Coldrain album), The Enemy Inside'', were both released exclusively in their home country of Japan. ''Vena'' (stylised in all caps) is the fourth studio album by Japanese rock band Coldrain. Recorded at the Trojan House and Madden Brothers Studio in Los Angeles, California with producer Brandon Paddock. It was released on October 21, 2015, in Japan by VAP and on October 23, 2015, worldwide by independent North American label Hopeless Records. ''Vena'' is the second Coldrain album to be released by Hopeless Records, the first being '' The Revelation'', and the fourth album by the band to be released in Japan by VAP. Fiction (Coldrain Song)
"Fiction" is the debut maxi-single by Japanese rock band Coldrain, it was released on November 5, 2008. Before this single, the band had never recorded and released other material. To help spread their name, they handed out demos of this record around Nagoya to help encourage people to go to their shows. "Fiction" was the only song off this maxi-single to be included on Coldrain's debut studio album ''Final Destination''. However, the song was remastered for the album to produce a different sound to what it was on the maxi single version. Later on in his career, frontman Masato Hayakawa stated that when making this record he did not think they would ever get noticed or succeed because of the quality and chemistry of them all as a band. ''Nothing Lasts Forever'' is the first and debut EP by Japanese rock band Coldrain. Recorded at Sound Crew Studio in Tokyo, Japan, which was self-produced by band members Masato Hayakawa and Ryo Yokochi. It was released on June 23, 2010 by VAP. ''Nothing Lasts Forever'' was exclusively released in Japan, being released 9 months after their debut studio album ''Final Destination''. ''Nothing Lasts Forever'' would end up entering and debuting at number 63 on the Oricon Albums Chart, while staying on the charts for the following three weeks. ''Final Destination'' is the debut studio album by Japanese rock band Coldrain. Recorded at Studio Sonorous Audio in Tokyo, Japan which was self produced by Masato Hayakawa and Ryo Yokochi, it was released on October 28, 2009 by VAP. ''Final Destination'' was exclusively released in Japan, along with the second studio album follow-up '' The Enemy Inside'', which was released in 2011. ''Final Destination'' debuted and peaked at number 88 on the Oricon Albums Chart, before dropping out of the charts completely the following week. ''The Enemy Inside'' was exclusively released in Japan, along with their debut studio outing ''Final Destination'', which was released two years prior. Masato David Hayakawa (Japanese: 早川 雅人, ''Hayakawa Masato'', born December 17, 1986), known professionally as Masato, is a Japanese singer, musician, songwriter, producer and model. He is known for being the bandleader and vocalist of the Japanese rock band Coldrain since their formation in 2007. He was a former member of AVER, alongside one of his fellow Coldrain members, drummer Katsuma Minatani. Hayakawa is also known as being the director and designer of a clothing line, as well as being a model for Over(all) Tokyo. "Uninvited" is a song by Canadian-American recording artist and songwriter Alanis Morissette, released as a single from the soundtrack of '' City of Angels'' in February 1998, becoming Morissette's first new recording since her international debut album, ''Jagged Little Pill'' (1995). Morissette wrote the song and co-produced it with Rob Cavallo. "Uninvited" is driven by four piano notes and builds to an instrumental climax, and haunting atmosphere accompanied by cryptic lyrics.
