''Fat Albert'' is a 2004 American live-action/animated comedy film based on the 1972 Filmation animated television series ''Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids'' created by Bill Cosby. Kenan Thompson stars as the title character. ''Fat Albert'' transforms the cartoon characters into three-dimensional humans, who have to come to grips with the differences that exist between their world and the real world. The film acts as a continuation of the series; Fat Albert and the gang leave their 1970s cartoon world, and enter the 2000s real world to help a teenage girl, Doris Robertson (Kyla Pratt), deal with the challenges of being unpopular. The film was released on December 25, 2004, and grossed $48 million against a $45 million budget. It has a 23% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which calls it "bland but good-natured" in its critical consensus. Joel Zwick
Joel Zwick (born January 11, 1942) is an American film director, television director, and theater director.Mann, Iris (June 1, 2016)"'Hillary and Monica': An Unlikely Meeting" '' Jewish Journal''. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the original inspiration comes from a scene featuring tomatoes in the Canadian film ''Léolo'' (1992). Since January 2010, Rotten Tomatoes has been owned by Flixster, which was in turn acquired by Warner Bros in 2011. Dylan Joseph Cash (born November 30, 1994) is an American child actor, known for his role as Michael Corinthos on ABC's daytime drama ''General Hospital''. Career He began the role, on General Hospital, on a recurring basis in March 2002, but was put on contract in April 2005 following increased story-line. He was released from his contract in April 2008, as show executives wanted to explore recasting and ultimately aging the character. Richard Overton (born August 10, 1954) is an American screenwriter, actor and comedian. His writing credits include ''Dennis Miller Live'', and his acting credits include ''Beverly Hills Cop'', ''Groundhog Day'' and ''Mrs. Doubtfire''.
