Farnborough Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Farnborough, Hampshire, England. Founded in 1967 as Farnborough Town, they are currently members of the , the sixth tier of English football and play at Cherrywood Road. Spencer Trethewy
Spencer Trethewy (born 23 December 1971), known since 1998 as Spencer Day, is a asset fund manager and property developer, who is also currently manager of Farnborough F.C. He first came to recognition as a teenager in 1989 when he saved Aldershot Football Club from closure with a £200,000 signed affidavit. However, he remained on the club's board as a director for only three months, and was voted off by the other directors after it transpired that he was in no position to be able to repay the money he had borrowed from other individuals in order to honour the affidavit in the agreed timeline. Conviction In 1994, Trethewy was convicted of breaching the Companies Act by running up bills when his airline company was suspended from trading and sentenced to twenty-five months in prison. Hereford () is a cathedral city, civil parish and the county town of Herefordshire, England. The Boleyn Ground, often referred to as Upton Park, was a football stadium located in Upton Park, east London. It was the home of West Ham United from 1904 to 2016, and was briefly used by Charlton Athletic in the early 1990s during their years of financial difficulty. The Football League First Division was a division of the Football League in England from 1888 until 2004. It was the top division in the English football league system from the season 1888–89 until 1991–92, a century in which the First Division's winning club became English men's football champions. Halesowen ( ) is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley, in the county of West Midlands, England. The 1990–91 Southern Football League season was the 88th in the history of the league, an English football competition. Farnborough Town won the Premier Division and earned promotion to the Football Conference, having been relegated from the Conference the year before. Weymouth, who finished bottom of the Premier Division, were relegated to the Southern Division, whilst Rushden Town, despite finishing fourteenth, were relegated to the Midland Division as their ground did not meet the Premier Division criteria.
