Frank Brian Fargo (born December 15, 1962) is an American video game designer, producer, programmer and executive, and founder of Interplay Entertainment, inXile Entertainment and Robot Cache. Biography Early life A descendant of the family that created the banking giants Wells Fargo and American Express, Fargo was born in Long Beach, California, and grew up in Whittier and Newport Beach. The only child of Frank Byron Fargo and Marie Curtis Fargo, he attended Corona del Mar High School, where he participated in track and field and developed a desire to create video games after his parents bought him an Apple II computer in 1977. Brian Fargo wrote his first video game, ''Labyrinth of Martagon'', with his friend Michael Cranford while still in high school. Heather Fargo (born December 12, 1952) is an American politician who served as mayor and was a former City Council Member of Sacramento, California. She was sworn in as mayor in November 2000, replacing Jimmie R. Yee, and served until December 2008, when she was defeated for reelection by Kevin Johnson. Henry Bond Fargo (August 29, 1843 – December 1, 1932) was an American politician and businessman who spent most of his professional career in Geneva, Illinois. Born in New York, Fargo first engaged in real estate dealings in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. A Chicago real estate firm hired him in 1887, and Fargo moved to Geneva, Illinois. Irene Fargo (born Flavia Irene Pozzaglio; 1 November 1962 – 1 July 2022) was an Italian singer, stage actress, and television personality. Life and career Fargo was born as Flavia Pozzaglio in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Brescia. She started singing as a child, and at just 11 years old she entered the Polyphonic Choir of the city of Chiari. Henry Faggart (June 26, 1930 – June 24, 2013) was an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Jackie Fargo. He competed in Southeastern regional promotions and the National Wrestling Alliance during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. A mainstay of NWA Mid-America (later the Continental Wrestling Association), he served as a mentor to Jerry "The King" Lawler and The Fabulous Ones, among other wrestlers in the Memphis area. Susan Cooley Fargo (August 27, 1942 – November 15, 2019) was an American politician from the state of Massachusetts. She was elected to the 5th Middlesex District in the Massachusetts State Senate in 1997, and later elected to the 3rd Middlesex District in 2003. Prior to serving in the Massachusetts legislature, she was a public management professional who served on the Lincoln Board of Selectmen and the Middlesex executive committee. William George Fargo (May 20, 1818August 3, 1881) was a pioneer American expressman who helped found the modern-day financial firms of American Express Company and Wells Fargo with his business partner, Henry Wells. He was also the 27th Mayor of Buffalo, serving from 1862 until 1866 during the U.S. Civil War. Early life William George Fargo was born in Pompey in Onondaga County, New York on May 20, 1818.
