Far Cry New Dawn
''Far Cry New Dawn'' is a 2019 first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is a spin-off and sequel to ''Far Cry 5'', and the twelfth overall installment in the ''Far Cry'' series. Set seventeen years after one of the endings of ''Far Cry 5'' which saw the fictional Hope County, Montana being devastated by a nuclear exchange known as "the Collapse", the game follows a group of survivors as they attempt to rebuild their community and defeat a gang of vicious bandits. Players assume the role of an unnamed security captain who, like ''Far Cry 5'''s deputy sheriff, is silent and highly customizable. Gregory Michael Bryk (born 19 August 1972) is a Canadian film and television actor. He has appeared in numerous films and television series and is best known for his reoccurring roles in ''ReGenesis'' (2004–2008), '' XIII: The Series'' (2011–2012), '' Bitten'' (2014–2016) and ''Frontier'' (2016–2018). Joseph Seed is a fictional character from Ubisoft's ''Far Cry'' video game franchise. He appears as the overarching antagonist of the 2018 title, ''Far Cry 5'', and was extensively featured in promotional material for the game. In ''Far Cry 5'', Joseph is a charismatic but demented preacher who leads the Project at Eden's Gate, a well-armed doomsday cult and paramilitary group that occupies the fictional Hope County in Montana, United States.
