Faouzi Aaish
Faouzi Mubarak Aaish ( ar, فوزي مبارك عايش; born 27 February 1985) is a Bahraini professional football player of Moroccan origin. He is currently a free agent and the Bahrain national football team. International career Born in Morocco, Aaish represented Bahrain in international competition and made 103 appearances for the Bahrain national football team, including 14 qualifying matches for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup. He scored the game-winning goal against Qatar to keep Bahrain's hopes of qualifying alive on 2 April 2009. Faouzi scored a penalty against Qatar which ended to 1–0 win, and Bahrain made it out of the group stage into the semi-finals of the GCC cup. The AFC Third Round of 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification was decided by a random draw which was conducted in Durban, South Africa on 25 November 2007. The round began on 6 February 2008 and finished on 22 June 2008. The top two countries in each group at the end of the stage progressed to the fourth round, where the ten remaining teams will be divided into two groups of five. Thani Bin Jassim Stadium
The Thani bin Jassim Stadium (), also known as the Al-Gharrafa Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in the Al Gharrafa district of Doha, Qatar. It is currently used mostly for football matches. Al-Gharrafa SC and Umm Salal SC play there. The stadium holds 21,175 people and was built in 2003. The stadium hosted matches of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup and other international competitions. In November 2021, the Asian Football Confederation confirmed that Iraq's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification matches against Syria and South Korea will be played there. The 20th Arabian Gulf Cup ( ar, كأس الخليج العربي) was the twentieth edition of the biannual Gulf Cup competition, and took place in Aden, Yemen, from 22 November to 5 December 2010. The tournament was held in Yemen for the first time in the tournament's history, and this edition celebrated the 40th anniversary of the cup as well as the 20th anniversary of the tournament. The opening match was played between the host Yemen and Saudi Arabia at the 22 May Stadium in Aden. Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium
Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium ( ar, ملعب جابر الأحمد الدولي) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Ardhiyah area of Kuwait City, Kuwait. Completed in 2009, it is used mostly for football matches and athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 seated spectators, the building is constructed in 4 levels, with 54 corporate boxes and parking lot with a 6,000 car capacity. It was expected to open in second quarter of 2010, but the building failed structural-integrity testing and remained closed due to a miscalculation by structural engineers for nearly half a decade.
