Fantástico
''Fantástico'' (originally known as ''Fantástico: O Show da Vida'', Portuguese for ''Fantastic The Show of Life'') is a Brazilian weekly television news program broadcast on Sunday nights on Rede Globo since August 5, 1973, created by José Bonifácio de Oliveira Sobrinho. It lasts two hours, including commercials. Currently presented by Maria Júlia Coutinho and Poliana Abritta, it has been recognized as one of the best programs of Brazilian television, besides being the most watched program on Sunday. History ''Fantástico'' debuted on August 5, 1973 in black-and-white and began as a variety show featuring music, dance numbers, tele theater, humorous sketches and some news as well. The following year, it began transmission in color. In 1988, the show began live broadcasts; in 1993, the format changed to a television newsmagazine. Maria Júlia Coutinho (born August 10, 1978), commonly known as Maju Coutinho, is a Brazilian journalist, television presenter, and commentator. Biography Maria Júlia holds a degree in Journalism from Faculdade Cásper Líbero and was a trainee at Fundação Padre Anchieta, where she went through various positions until she became a reporter. In 2005, she started presenting the '' Jornal da Cultura'' with Heródoto Barbeiro. Cyro Del Nero
Cyro Del Nero (December 28, 1931 – July 30, 2010) was a Brazilian scenographer and set designer. Del Nero worked in the theater, television and film industries for more than 50 years. He was also a professor of theatrical costume and stage design at the University of São Paulo. Del Nero was born in Brás, a district in Sao Paulo. He worked as an art director and set director at several Brazilian television networks during his career including Rede Bandeirantes, Rede Globo, Rede Tupi and Rede Excelsior. He was the head art director of the Rede Globo television news magazine, ''Fantástico'', designing many of the sets and the overall look of the show.
