Fantasy
Fantasy is a genre of speculative fiction involving Magic (supernatural), magical elements, typically set in a fictional universe and sometimes inspired by mythology and folklore. Its roots are in oral traditions, which then became fantasy literature and drama. From the twentieth century, it has expanded further into various media, including film, television, graphic novels, manga, animations and video games. Fantasy is distinguished from the genres of science fiction and horror fiction, horror by the respective absence of scientific or macabre themes, although these genres overlap. In popular culture, the fantasy genre predominantly features settings that emulate Earth, but with a sense of otherness. "Fantasy" is a song recorded by French singer-songwriter DyE for his debut studio album, ''Taki 183 TAKI 183 is the "tag" of a Greek-American graffitist who was active during the late 1960s and early 1970s in New York City. Fantasy is the third single by R&B singer Danny Fernandes. It's the fourth track off his debut album ''Intro''. Music video The music video first premiered on the MOD Daily Ten countdown on Much On Demand. It starts off with Fernandes sitting on a chair singing and looking at the camera, and later it shows a girl who just stands still in the middle of a hallway and thinks about her and Fernandes going on trips and spending time together. In the end part her and Fernandes are both in a bubble bath together, and the girl stops daydreaming after she was bumped into by another girl walking past her. It was released on September 2, 2002, and peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, held off the top spot by Atomic Kitten's "The Tide Is High (Get the Feeling)". Music video The music video is set during a performance in a bar and features stage Natalie diving into the audience, originally Nicole was supposed to do the stage dive but she chickened out at the last moment - with the excuse that they didn't put down the mattress - and her sister had to show her how it was done. "Fantasy" is the debut single by Canadian rock musician Aldo Nova and is his most popular work to date. Released on his eponymous debut album in 1982. VH1 listed it at #78 on its countdown for the ''100 Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 80s''. Music video The video portrays Nova performing with his band for an audience. In its opening sequence, a man holding a Gibson Les Paul guitar and two bodyguards holding machine guns wait for someone. The men surround a landing helicopter, and the one with the guitar opens the door. Nova exits the helicopter, clad in a leopard-print jumpsuit and a pair of cowboy boots, and is escorted to the stage. When they encounter a locked door, Nova takes the guitar, holds it like a rifle, and fires a laser beam into the door, forcing it open.
