Falset, Tarragona
Falset (pop. 2,935) is the principal village of the comarca of the Priorat, in Catalonia, very famous for its wine. It has a castle and two palaces (Medinacelli and Azahara). It is located about 30km inland from Salou on the N420 road. Catalonia is (as of 2018) divided into 947 Municipalities of Spain, municipalities. Marçà is a municipality in the comarca of Priorat, Tarragona Province, Catalonia, Spain. History In medieval times, after the area had been reconquered from the Saracens, the town became part of the Barony of Entença. The now ruined Sant Marçal monastery was founded in 1611. Noucentisme
Noucentisme in Catalonia (, ''noucentista'' being its adjective) was a Catalan cultural movement of the early 20th century that originated largely as a reaction against Modernisme, both in art and ideology, and was, simultaneously, a perception of art almost opposite to that of avantgardists. In 1906, Eugeni d'Ors coined the term following the Italian tradition of naming styles after the centuries (for example, ''Quattrocento'', '' Cinquecento'', etc.) and using the homonyms ''nou'' (nine) and ''nou'' (new) to suggest it was a renovation movement. The same year two essential works for Noucentisme were published: '' Els fruits saborosos'' by Josep Carner and "La nacionalitat catalana" by the Conservative politician Enric Prat de la Riba. ''Modernisme'' (, Catalan for "modernism"), also known as Catalan modernism and Catalan art nouveau, is the historiographic denomination given to an art and literature movement associated with the search of a new entitlement of Catalan culture, one of the most predominant cultures within Spain. Winery
A winery is a building or property that produces wine, or a business involved in the production of wine, such as a wine company. Some wine companies own many wineries.
