Falcon Field (Arizona)
Falcon Field is in an airport located in Maricopa County, Arizona. It was originally built northeast of Mesa, which owns it. However, it is now within city limits. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021 categorized it as a ''reliever airport''. Scheduled service to Bullhead City on Western Express Air ended in January 2007. Most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, but Falcon Field is FFZ to the FAA and MSC to the IATA. Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum
The Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum, a.k.a. Airbase Arizona Aircraft Museum, was established in 1978, in Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona. It is the 10th unit of the Commemorative Air Force and the home of one of the largest Commemorative Air Force units in the world. On exhibit are World War II artifacts, helicopters and classic American and foreign combat planes, many of which are the last remaining warbirds of their kinds. The General Engineering Company of Ontario (GECO, pronounced: "Gee-ko") was a munitions plant located in Scarborough, Toronto, and owned by the Government of Canada. Between July 1941 to July 1945, GECO filled more than 256 million units of ammunition for the Government of Canada.
