Les Plus Beaux Villages De Wallonie
''Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie'' ( French; in English: "The Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia") is a non-profit organisation formed in 1994 to promote, protect and develop a number of villages in Wallonia, Belgium. The association is inspired by the organisation ''Les plus beaux villages de France'' and is established as an ASBL in Belgium. Montaigle Castle
Montaigle Castle (french: Château de Montaigle) is a ruined medieval castle in Falaën in the municipality of Onhaye, province of Namur, Wallonia. It was built in the 14th century, and destroyed by Henry II of France in 1554. It stands on a rocky spur overlooking the valleys of the Molignée and of the Flavion. The site was used during the Late Roman period for a Belgo-Roman fortification. The Kingdom of Belgium is divided into three regions. Two of these regions, Flanders and Wallonia, are each subdivided into five provinces.
