Fakhar Zaman (cricketer)
Fakhar Zaman ( ps, ; born 10 April 1990) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team and for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League. On 20 July 2018, he became the first batsman for Pakistan to score a List of One Day International cricket double centuries, double century in a One Day International (ODI) match. Two days later, he became the fastest batsman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs. In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board. On 4 April 2021, while chasing against South Africa in the second ODI, Fakhar scored 193 before being run out by Quinton de Kock. Fakhar's 193 became the highest individual score while chasing in an ODI surpassing the 185 scored by Shane Watson against Bangladesh. Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Quinton De Kock
Quinton de Kock (born 17 December 1992) is a South African cricketer and former captain of the Proteas in all three formats. He currently plays for South Africa in limited overs cricket, Titans at the domestic level, and Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League. Run out is a method of dismissal in cricket, governed by Law 38 of the Laws of Cricket. A run out usually occurs when the batsmen are attempting to run between the wickets, and the fielding team succeed in getting the ball to one wicket before a batsman has crossed the crease line near the wicket.
