Fairest (comics)
''Fairest'' is an American monthly comic series created by Bill Willingham, published by DC's Vertigo. A spin-off of ''Fables'', ''Fairest'' detailed the adventures and stories of Fabletown's female citizens and heroines. ''Fairest'' was described by Willingham as a series of miniseries, with each arc telling self-contained stories. The series ended in January 2015. Story arcs Wide Awake ''(issues 1 to 6)'': Follows the misadventures of Briar Rose and the Snow Queen after the events of ''Fables'' #107, in which Briar was stolen away by the goblin army. Adam Hughes
Adam Hughes (born May 5, 1967) is an American comics artist and illustrator best known to American comic book readers for his renderings of pinup-style female characters, and his cover work on titles such as ''Wonder Woman'' and ''Catwoman''. He is known as one of comics' foremost cheesecake artists, and one of the best known and most distinctive comic book cover artists. Throughout his career Hughes has provided illustration work for companies such as DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Lucasfilm, Warner Bros. Pictures, ''Playboy'' magazine, Joss Whedon's Mutant Enemy Productions, and Sideshow Collectibles. He is also a fixture at comics conventions where his commissioned sketches command long lines. Barry Kitson is a British comic book artist. Biography Kitson's first professional work was ''Spider-Man'' for Marvel UK. He also drew many stories for ''2000 AD (comics), 2000 AD'', beginning with a "Future Shocks" tale written by Peter Milligan as well as others by Grant Morrison, and going on to achieve great acclaim with his detailed work on Judge Anderson written by Alan Grant (writer), Alan Grant. Todd Klein (born January 28, 1951) is an American comic book letterer, logo designer, and occasional writer, primarily for DC Comics. Biography Early career Todd Klein broke into comics in the summer of 1977, hired by DC Comics as a staff production worker. This job entailed pasting together text pages (such as letter columns), putting logos, display lettering, and type on covers, and doing art and lettering corrections on comics pages. Other staffers included colorists Bob LeRose and Anthony Tollin, writer Bob Rozakis, inker Steve Mitchell, and letterer John Workman. Over the next months and years, Klein tried his hand at all those things, but found lettering suited him best.
