Faction Punk
Faction Punk is an uncensored punk rock channel on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. Airing on channel 314, its focus is specifically modern punk rock. Prior to the temporary replacement of the channel for GNR radio, Faction was branded as just ''Faction'' and played a mix of hard rock, hip hop, heavy metal along with punk rock. It would also air an afternoon re-broadcast of ''The Jason Ellis Show'', which used to air live on the channel when it was known as Faction with Jason Ellis, before Ellis' show moved to the re-branded Faction Talk in January 2017. Sirius Satellite Radio was a satellite radio (SDARS) and online radio service operating in North America, owned by Sirius XM Holdings. Headquartered in New York City, with smaller studios in Los Angeles and Memphis, Tennessee, Memphis, Sirius was officially launched on July 1, 2002. Since 2008, Sirius XM Radio has had a similar channel lineup, with a few differences based on whether the individual has a Sirius, XM, or SiriusXM radio. For technical reasons, separate radios continue to be manufactured for the separate services despite the programming lineups having since been merged. The Lynx and Edge radios are on the SiriusXM platform, the Onyx and XM3pi radios are on the XM platform, and the Sportster and Starmate radios are on the Sirius platform. Sirius XM Turbo is a commercial-free music channel that plays 1990s and 2000s hard rock and airs on SIRIUS XM Radio, Sirius XM Radio and Dish Network. It airs on channel 41 on SIRIUS XM Radio, Sirius XM Radio. SiriusXMU
SiriusXMU (formerly XMU, and known as Sirius U on Sirius Canada, although Sirius receivers list it as Sirius XM U) is an indie pop, indie rock, unsigned artist music channel on XM Satellite Radio channel 35 (previously 43). On November 12, 2008, it was added to Sirius 26 (replacing the Left of Center channel), moving to Sirius 35 on May 4, 2011, and Dish Network channel 6026. Until February 9, 2010, it was on DirecTV channel 831. The XM DJs were replaced with Sirius DJs, and acquired its current name, even though the channel is still listed as X043-FM by Mediabase. Fungus, branded on air as Fungus 53, was a Commercial-free radio station on XM Satellite Radio, launched in early 2004 and was specialized in playing Uncensored Punk rock, Hardcore rock and Ska music.
