Fabio Roselli (rugby Union)
Fabio Roselli (born 13 April 1971, in Rome) is a former Italian rugby union player and a currently is the Head coach of Zebre Parma in United Rugby Championship. He played as a wing. Roselli played his entire career for Rugby Roma Olimpic, from 1989/90 to 2002/03. He won one Italian Championship, in 1999/2000, and one Cup of Italy, in 1997/98. He had 16 caps for Italy, from 1995 to 1999, scoring 5 tries, 25 points in aggregate. He played a game at the 1999 Rugby World Cup, in what would be his final cap for his national team. He was the coach of the Italy National Team U-18, in 2008, and is currently in charge of the Italy National Team U-17. United Rugby Championship
The United Rugby Championship (URC) is an annual rugby union competition involving professional teams from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales. The current name was adopted in 2021 when the league expanded to include four South African teams previously from the SANZAR Super Rugby competition. The league is one of the three major professional leagues in Europe (along with the English Premiership Rugby, Premiership and the French Top 14), the most successful teams from which go forward to compete in the European Rugby Champions Cup. Since 2022–23, despite the name, South African teams have been eligible to qualify for European competition, and one South African place is guaranteed. The Rugby Roma Olimpic Club 1930 is an Italian rugby union team, based in Rome. The club won 5 Italian titles, in 1935, 1937, 1948, 1949 and 2000, the Coppa Italia in 1998 and competed in 58 editions of the Italian top tier championship (now, the Top12) from his foundation in 1930 as Rugby Roma. From 1969 to 2011 Rugby Roma's home ground was the Stadio Tre Fontane, located in the Roman South-western suburb of EUR. In the last 2010–11 Excellence season Rugby Roma Olimpic's head coaches were Danie de Villiers and Jaco Stoumann led the team to conquer the Excellence Trophy. In 2011 the club is disbanded. The 1999 Rugby World Cup was the fourth Rugby World Cup, the quadrennial international rugby union championship. It was principally hosted by Wales, and was won by Australia. This was the first Rugby World Cup to be held in the sport's professional era. Although the majority of matches were played outside Wales (shared between England, France, Scotland and Ireland) the opening ceremony, the first match and the final were held in Cardiff.
