FK Metalurg Skopje
FK Metalurg ( mk, ФК Металург) is a football club from Skopje, North Macedonia. They are currently not playing in any of the four highest tiers of Macedonian football. History The club was founded in 1964. Metalurg has entered the Macedonian First League in the 1992–93 season and were relegated the same year. After playing 15 seasons in the Macedonian Second League they were back in the Macedonian First League for the 2008–09 season. Železarnica Stadium
Železarnica Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Skopje, North Macedonia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home ground for FK Metalurg Skopje of the Macedonian First League and FK Skopje of the Macedonian Second League, but Metalurg Skopje was required to played at both the Petar Miloševski Training Centre and Boris Trajkovski Stadium Boris Trajkovski Stadium (Macedonian Cyrillic: Стадион Борис Трајковски) is a football stadium in Skopje, North Macedonia. It is named after former president Boris Trajkovski and is currently the home of FK Madžari Solidarno ... in the Macedonian First League because the Železarnica does not meet the necessary league requirements for First League matches to be held there. The 2008–09 Macedonian First League was the 17th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. It began on 3 August 2008 and ended on 31 May 2009. Rabotnichki were the defending champions, having won their third title the previous year. Bashkimi withdrew from the championship due to financial reasons.
