FK Bokelj
FK Bokelj is a Montenegrin professional football club based in the coastal town of Kotor. They currently compete in the Montenegrin Second League. History History of Bokelj started at the second decade of 20th century. The team was founded on 30 July 1922 as ''SK Primorac''. Primorac played its first game against FK Zrinjski Tivat and won 2-1. In 1926, the team was renamed as FK Bokelj and until 1941 played numerous seasons in the Montenegrin Football Championship. In that period, FK Bokelj played four times in the final of the Montenegrin Championship, but never won it. After the war, Bokelj started to play in the Montenegrin Republic League in 1947. Only four years later, the team from Kotor were promoted to the Yugoslav Second League (''season 1951''). From that year to 1991, FK Bokelj played overall nine seasons in the Yugoslav Second League. Stadion Pod Vrmcem
Stadion Pod Vrmcem is a football stadium in Kotor, Montenegro. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Bokelj. The stadium holds 1,000 people. History The first football ground in Kotor was situated at Rakite suburb, near the Adriatic coast. At the same location, after 1945, a new ground was built. The stadium was renovated few times. It's situated near the beach in Bay of Kotor and it's the home ground of FK Bokelj. Except Bokelj's matches, at the Stadion pod Vrmcem, every year is playing final match of Nikša Bućin Cup, competition for Third League clubs from south Montenegro. The stadium has one stand, with a capacity of 1,000 seats. Pitch and conditions The pitch measures 110 x 70 meters. The stadium didn't met UEFA criteria for European competitions. Montenegrin Republic League
Montenegrin Republic League (Montenegrin: ''Crnogorska republička liga'' / ''Црногорска републичка лига'') was the third tier football league of SFR Yugoslavia. The top clubs were promoted to Yugoslav Second League. Overview Founded in spring 1946, Montenegrin Republic League was the oldest football competition in Montenegro after WWII. It existed 60 years, and most of the time it was the third tier of competition (after First League and Second League). 2016–17 Montenegrin First League
The 2016–17 Montenegrin First League (known as 1. CFL 2016–17) was the eleventh season of the top-tier football in Montenegro. Mladost Podgorica are the defending champions. The season began on 6 August 2016 and ended on 27 May 2017; the relegation play-offs will follow. Format of competition A total of 12 teams will participate in this edition of the First Montenegrin League. Mornar was relegated to 2016–17 Montenegrin Second League. They were replaced with FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje. This is the last season of Prva CFL with 12 participants. From the 2017–18 season, there will be 10 clubs in the top-tier rank of Montenegro. The 2011–12 Montenegrin First League was the sixth season of the top-tier football in Montenegro. The season began on 6 August 2011 and ended on 30 May 2012, with a winter break beginning on 8 December 2011. Mogren are the defending champions. Teams Bar were directly relegated to the Montenegrin Second League after finishing 12th at the end of last season; the club returned to the second level after just one year.
