FK Belasica
FK Belasica ( mk, ФК Беласица) is a football club based in the city of Strumica, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History The club was founded on 22 April 1922 at the cafe of Tašo Todorov, where fifty initiators gathered at the founding meeting for the football club Belasica Strumica. According to documents, the first meeting was held on 13 August 1922 with Gjorgi Moskov elected president, Tomi Kujundziev as secretary and Rosto Perov as treasurer.The first match played in club history was against Pobeda from Skopje, where Belasica lost by the score of 1–0. Their popular Nickname is Kangaroos and their best period was the golden 80s when they won the Macedonian championship twice. Stadion Blagoj Istatov
Blagoj Istatov Stadium is a football stadium in Strumica, North Macedonia. With the last reconstruction in 2017 the stadium has a capacity of 9,200 seats, and it is a third-class field in accordance with UEFA standards. It meets the conditions for a high-ranking competition and is the second such stadium in the country, after the Toše Proeski Arena in Skopje. It is the home ground of FK Belasica, Akademija Pandev and FK Tiverija. History The stadium was built in 1950 with the original capacity of 6,000. In 2005, Joseph S. Blatter unveiled a plaque to commemorate the occasion at the Mladost Stadium in Strumica. The Strumica GOAL Project was approved to finance the improvement of the technical centre and stadium. Today the facility boasts several modern training pitches, modern floodlighting, modern dressing rooms and modern conference room underground on Mladost Stadium newly build Stand . Goran Maznov (Macedonian Cyrillic: Горан Мазнов) (born 22 April 1981 in Strumica, SR Macedonia) is a Macedonian football striker who plays for FK Dojransko Ezero in the Macedonian third league group Southeast. The Cup of Macedonia ( mk, Куп на Македонија, ''Kup na Makedonija'') is the top knockout tournament and the second most important football competition in Macedonia after the Macedonian First League championship. The cup was established in 1992 after local clubs had abandoned the Yugoslav First League and Yugoslav Cup competitions following the breakup of Yugoslavia. As of 2014, a total of 16 clubs have reached the cup finals and the most successful side in the history of the competition is Vardar, who have triumphed 5 times in their 6 cup final appearances.
