Seefeld In Tirol
Seefeld in Tirol is an old farming village, now a major tourist resort, in Innsbruck-Land District in the Austrian state of Tyrol (state), Tyrol with a local population of 3,312 (as of 1 January 2013). The village is located about northwest of Innsbruck on a plateau between the Wetterstein mountains and the Karwendel on a historic road from Mittenwald to Innsbruck that has been important since the Middle Ages. It was first mentioned in 1022 and since the 14th century has been a pilgrimage church, pilgrimage site, benefiting not only from the visit of numerous pilgrims but also from its stacking rights as a trading station between Augsburg and the Republic of Venice, Venice. Jessie Diggins
Jessica Diggins (born August 26, 1991) is an American cross-country skier. She and teammate Kikkan Randall won the United States' first ever cross-country skiing gold medal at the Winter Olympics in the team sprint in 2018. At the 2022 Winter Olympics, Diggins won the silver medal in the 30 kilometer freestyle and the bronze medal in the individual sprint, making her the most decorated American cross-country skier of all time. She also won four medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships from 2013 to 2017. In 2021, Diggins clinched the top spot in the women's overall standings for the 2020–21 FIS Cross-Country World Cup, becoming the first American to do so. Sadie Maubet Bjornsen (, born November 21, 1989) is a retired American cross-country skier and former member of the United States Ski Team Nordic programs "Cross Country A Team" roster. Her brother Erik Bjornsen is also a cross-country skier. Athletic career Bjornsen competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. In 2015, she graduated from Alaska Pacific University. Laurien van der Graaff (born 14 October 1987) is a Swiss, former cross-country skier. Career Born in the Netherlands to Dutch parents, she has dual citizenship. Her family moved to Switzerland when she was four. Van der Graaff competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Switzerland. She placed 20th in the qualifying round in the sprint, advancing to the quarterfinals. She then finished 5th in that quarterfinal, failing to advance. She participated in the 2018 Winter Olympics as part of the Olympic Athletes from Russia team and 2022 Winter Olympics as part of the Russian Olympic Committee team, winning a total of four medals, including a gold in the 4 × 5 km relay.
