Marit Bjørgen
Marit Bjørgen (born 21 March 1980) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier. She is ranked first in the all-time Cross-Country World Cup rankings with 114 individual victories. Bjørgen is also the most successful sprinter in Cross-Country World Cup history, with 29 victories. She headed the medal table at the 2010 Winter Olympics by winning five medals, including three gold. A five-time Olympian, her five Olympic medals at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games brought her total number of medals up to a record 15, the most by any athlete in Winter Olympics history. On 6 April 2018, Bjørgen announced her retirement from cross–country skiing following the 2017–18 season. Sadie Maubet Bjornsen (, born November 21, 1989) is a retired American cross-country skier and former member of the United States Ski Team Nordic programs "Cross Country A Team" roster. Her brother Erik Bjornsen is also a cross-country skier. Athletic career Bjornsen competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. In 2015, she graduated from Alaska Pacific University. Her family moved to Switzerland when she was four. Van der Graaff competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Switzerland. Mona-Liisa Nousiainen (née Malvalehto; 20 July 1983 – 29 July 2019) was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the World Cup between 2002 and 2018. Her best World Cup finish was first place in a sprint event in Liberec, in the Czech Republic, on 12 January 2013. Malvalehto's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was seventh in the sprint event at Oberstdorf in 2005. In 1999, she won the Finnish Championship in accordion playing. She studied at the Sibelius Academy. She announced her retirement from cross-country skiing after not being selected for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
