Célia Aymonier
Célia Aymonier (born 5 August 1991) is a former French cross-country skier and biathlete. She competed as a cross-country skier at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, competing in the skiathlon and the 10 km classical. Ahead of the 2015–16 season, Aymonier changed sport to biathlon and became a part of the French elite biathlon team. Pontarlier
Pontarlier ( ; Latin: ''Ariolica'') is a commune and one of the two sub-prefectures of the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France near the Swiss border. History Pontarlier occupies the ancient Roman station of Ariolica, in Gallia and is placed in the ''Tables'' on the road from Urba (modern Orbe, Canton Vaud, Switzerland), to Vesontio (modern Besançon). Although the distances in the Antonine Itinerary do not agree with the real distances, French geographer D'Anville recognized a transposition of the numbers. The Theodosian Tabula names the place "Abrolica", which William Smith states as a possible error of transcription. After the Burgundian invasion in the 5th century, Pontarlier became an unavoidable way of trade from the kingdom of Burgundy to Switzerland, Germany or Lombardy. Oberhof, Germany
Oberhof is a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district of Thuringia, Germany. Located in the Thuringian Forest mountain range, it is a winter sports center and health resort. With 1,625 inhabitants (December 2016), it is visited by 144,000 tourists every year (2016). The town obtained its official city status in 1985. Biathlon World Championships 2019
The Biathlon World Championships 2019 took place in Östersund, Sweden, from 6 to 17 March 2019. There were a total of 12 competitions: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start, and relay races for men and women, and two mixed relay races. The single mixed relay was on the program of the World Championships for the first time. All the events during this championships also counted for the 2018–19 Biathlon World Cup season. Host selection On 7 September 2014, Östersund won the voting (27 votes) in St. Wolfgang, Austria over Antholz, Italy (16 votes), Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic (4 votes) and Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia (2 votes).
