Piz Nair () is a mountain of the Albula Alps in Switzerland, overlooking St. Moritz in the Cantons of Switzerland, canton of Graubünden. Marco Pfiffner (born 25 March 1994) is a Swiss born, professional alpine ski racer who represents Liechtenstein. He has competed for Liechtenstein at three Winter Olympic Games in 2014, 2018, and 2022. Early life Pfiffner was born in Walenstadt in the Swiss canton of St Gallen. He lives in Mauren and represents the Unterland Winter Sports Club (UWV). Career Pfiffner began competing in FIS races aged 15. In 2011, he participated in the Junior World Championships in Crans Montana, securing 43rd and 54th place finishes in the slalom and grand slalom. Weeks later, he took part in the World Championships at Garmisch Partenkirchen. He finished 72nd in the giant slalom and 53rd in the slalom events. Patrick Thaler (born March 23, 1978) is a retired World Cup alpine ski racer from northern Italy. Born in Bolzano, South Tyrol, he specialized in the slalom. Thaler competed for Italy at the 2006, 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics but failed to finish. His best result from Alpine World Ski Championships is a seventh place in Val-d'Isère, France, in 2009. Career During his World Cup career, he reached three third-place finishes in the slalom – twice at Kitzbühel, Austria, and once at Val d'Isère. In addition, he has 25 top-10 finishes. He is one of the oldest (35 years, 10 months, 2 days) slalom skiers to have finished in the top-3 in the World cup (in 2014) and the oldest (38 years, 11 months, 11 days) to have finished in the top-10 (in 2017). Jean-Baptiste Grange
Jean-Baptiste Grange (born 10 October 1984) is a French retired World Cup alpine ski racer. He competed primarily in slalom and earlier also in giant slalom and combined. Born in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Savoie, Grange grew up in Valloire, Galibier, and made his World Cup debut at age 19 in January 2004. In February 2007, he won the bronze medal in the slalom at the 2007 World Championships in Åre, Sweden. He won his first World Cup race on 17 December 2007, and won the 2009 season title in the slalom. Injured in early December 2009 in a giant slalom at Beaver Creek, he opted for surgery and missed the remainder of the 2010 season, which included the 2010 Winter Olympics. He specializes in the slalom; he won the Slalom at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
