The FIL World Luge Championships 2011 took place 28–30 January 2011 in Cesana, Italy at the Cesana Pariol bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track. A total of 19 countries competed. Wolfgang Kindl (born 18 April 1988) is an Austrian world champion luger who has competed since 2007. Competitive career At the FIL European Luge Championships 2010 in Sigulda, he won silver medals in the men's singles and mixed team events. At the 5 December 2014 men's singles event in Lake Placid, New York, Kindl placed second, behind American Tucker West, with Dominik Fischnaller of Italy coming in third. Jan-Armin Eichhorn (born 8 May 1981 in Sonneberg) is a German luger who has competed since 1999. He won the bronze medal in the men's singles event at the 2007 FIL World Luge Championships in Igls, Austria. David Möller (also spelled Moeller, born 13 January 1982) is a German former luger who competed from 2001 to 2014.
