FH Women's Football
The FH women's football team is the women's association football, women's football department of the Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar multi-sport club. It is based in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland, and currently plays in the Úrvalsdeild kvenna (football), Úrvalsdeild kvenna, the top-tier women's football league in Iceland. History FH's women's football team won the first edition of the Úrvalsdeild kvenna (football), national championship in 1972. After losing the title to Glímufélagið Ármann, Ármann in 1973, FH won three successive titles in 1974, 1975 and 1976. The club was Promotion and relegation, promoted from the second-tier 1. deild in 2015, and finished sixth in the 2016 Úrvalsdeild (women), 2016 Úrvalsdeild. Kaplakriki
Kaplakriki is a multi-purpose stadium in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar. The stadium holds over 6,000 spectators and has offers 3050 seats. The plan for the stadium development is to expand the seating capacity to over 4,000 seats taking the maximum capacity to over 7,000. Long-term plans though are to make the stadium an all-seater, full square stadium with around 6,000 seats and roofs over the stands. Kaplakriki Stadium is a part of multi-sport complex which besides a state-of-the-art stadium, includes a multi functional sports arena which mainly is used for handball and as a concert venue. The Handball arena holds over 3,000 spectators in seats. The arena was one of the venues for the 1995 World Men's Handball Championship in Handball and has hosted several national games. The Ngaiawang (Ngayawang) were an Aboriginal Australian people of the western Riverland area of South Australia, with a language considered part of the Lower Murray group. They are now considered extinct. They have sometimes been referred to as part of the Meru people, a larger grouping which could also include the Ngawait and Erawirung peoples. Melkorka (Old Norse: ; Modern Icelandic: ) is the name given in ''Landnámabók'' and '' Laxdæla saga'' for the Irish mother of the Icelandic goði Ólafr Höskuldsson. It is possible that her name represents the Early Irish ''Mael Curcaig''. According to ''Laxdæla saga'', Hoskuld Dala-Kollsson purchased Melkorka, who he believed to be a selective mute thrall-woman, from a Rus' merchant on Brännöyar while on a trading expedition to Norway, and made her his concubine while away from his wife Jorunn Bjarnadottir. When Höskuldr returned home to Iceland, he took her with him. Despite Jórunn's irritation, the concubine was accepted into Höskuldr's household, though he remained faithful to Jórunn while in Iceland.
