FEU Lady Tamaraws Women's Volleyball
The FEU Lady Tamaraws are the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the Far Eastern University. They compete in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). History FEU Lady Tamaraw Spikers won their first in season 11 (1948–49). As of UAAP Season 85 the Lady Tamaraws have 29 UAAP championships. Rivals * UST Growling Tigers and the FEU women's volleyball teams battled in the Finals for as long as 15 seasons (1988–2003), wherein 9 titles were won by the Lady Tamaraw Spikers. Far Eastern University (Filipino language, Filipino: ''Pamantasan ng Malayong Silanganan''), also referred to by its acronym FEU, is a Private university, private non-sectarian Liberal arts college, liberal arts university in Manila, Philippines. Shakey's V-League 11th Season 1st Conference
The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: 1st Conference is the 19th conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on March 23, 2014, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There are 12 teams competing this including the join forces of all the top selected players from Davao in one team (called as Davao Lady Agilas) and the debut of St. Louis University of Baguio. Also, the return of Arellano, Adamson, Ateneo, FEU, San Sebastian, CSB, NU, Perpetual, SWU, and UST. This is league's first time to have 12 participating schools to battle for the championship, and first to have a school representing Mindanao region. The 2nd Conference of the 6th Season of the Shakey's V-League was held in October 2009 at the Filoil Flying V Arena. Second Conference shall be governed by the FIVB Official Volleyball Rules. The 2009 Shakey's V-League (SVL) season was the sixth season of the Shakey's V-League. UAAP Season 70 was the 2007-08 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, which was hosted by the University of Santo Tomas. Jovelyn Gonzaga
Jovelyn Gonzaga is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was a member and team captain of Central Philippine University volleyball team. She is currently a member of the Army Black Mamba Energy Lady Troopers in the Premier Volleyball League, in which she plays as an opposite hitter. She is also a member of the Philippine volleyball National Team. Career Gonzaga became Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference Most Valuable Player in 2013.
