The 2014 Shakey's V-League (SVL) season was the eleventh season of the Shakey's V-League. Shakey's V-League
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams. The Spikers' Turf has served as the men's counterpart of the league. History Shakey's V-League (2004–2016) The Premier Volleyball League was established in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. led by Jun Bernardino, Ricky Palou, Moying Martelino, and Rhea Navarro who were businessmen previously known for being men's basketball patrons. The Shakey's V-League was initially an inter-collegiate women's league with teams from the UAAP, NCAA, CESAFI among others playing in the league. Shaq Delos Santos
Cesael "Shaq" Delos Santos is a Filipino volleyball coach who was head coach of the Cignal HD Spikers of the Premier Volleyball League. Education Delos Santos attended the Far Eastern University (FEU). Career College Delos Santos worked as an assistant coach for the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Golden Tigresses. He became head coach in 2008, after coach August Santamaria suffered from a mild stroke. He resigned from UST in April 2011. He left to coach for his alma mater. Delos Santos coached the FEU women's team to three Final Four appearances from Season 77 to 80 (2014–2017). Maria Angeli Tabaquero
Maria Angeli Tabaquero is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She was a member of the UAAP champion teams of the UST Golden Tigresses (2008-2010). Career Tabaquero was named team captain for the Philippine national team in 2013 in the Asian Championship. She was the captain of the Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns club that won the 2013 Shakey's V-League Open Conference over Smart-Maynilad Net Spikers in the finals. She played the 2014 Asian Club Championship with PLDT HOME TVolution in March As team captain, Tabaquero played for Kia Forte in the 2015 Shakey's V-League 12th Season Reinforced Open Conference. Tabaquero participated in the 2016 PSL Invitational Cup with Foton Toplanders as team's Libero. Pau Soriano
Maria Paulina "Pau" Soriano is a Filipino volleyball athlete player of the Creamline Cool Smashers that plays in the Premier Volleyball League (formerly known as the Shakey's V-League). Personal life Soriano went to Tandang Sora Elementary School in Banlat, Quezon City and the Ernesto Rondon High School. She is a graduate of Hospitality Management from Adamson University. Career During her collegiate years she played with Adamson Lady Falcons from 2008 to 2012 and was team captain from 2011 to 2012 and playing as its quick hitter or middle blocker. Soriano played with Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns from 2013 to 2015. She played the 2013 Shakey's V-League All-Star game. EJ Laure
Ennajie Cruz Laure (born July 31, 1997), better known as EJ Laure, is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a member and a former team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses volleyball team, and a former Philippine national team member. Career High school Laure led the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Girls Volleyball Team to its last championship in Season 76 of UAAP Juniors Volleyball. She was hailed as best attacker and most valuable player. She also received the Best Server award in Season 74 and Best Receiver in Season 75. Bang Pineda
Shiela Marie "Bang" Pineda (born January 21, 1991) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. Career Pineda played for Adamson Lady Falcons during the UAAP Season 75 being named Best Server and the UAAP Season 76. She then played for Cagayan Valley Lady Rising Suns in the 11th Season Open Conference being named Best Digger and 12th Season Reinforced Open Conference before joining Petron Tri-Activ Spikers. In the 2017 season of the Philippine SuperLiga, Pineda and teammate Frances Molina of Petron XCS won the bronze medal in the Beach Challenge Cup. Petron Blaze Spikers swept the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the All-Filipino Conference finals and won the championship. The Southwestern University, officially the Southwestern University PHINMA (SWU PHINMA), is a private university in Cebu City, Philippines.
