FC Vorskla Poltava ( uk, ФК «Во́рскла» Полта́ва ) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Poltava that competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top flight of Ukrainian football. History Kolos Poltava The club draws its history from 1955 when in the city of Poltava was established a football club Kolhospnyk within the republican trade union sports society '' Kolos''. The same year it entered the Football Championship of the Ukrainian SSR where already played one of the older clubs from Poltava, FC Lokomotyv Poltava. In 1957 the club obtained its professional status and was included in the competitions of the Soviet third division (then "Class B"). However, in 1982 the club went into bankruptcy and was dissolved. Butovsky Vorskla Stadium
Oleksiy Butovsky Vorskla Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Poltava, Ukraine. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home of FC Vorskla Poltava. The stadium holds 24,795 people. History It was built in 1974 and has undergone several reconstructions after, most notably in 2000, when the facade of the stadium was renovated. In 2008, the most notable feature of the restoration was the installation of a coloured screen. The renovation was done for the Ukrainian Super Cup, which was played at the stadium. The cup has traveled outside of Odessa for the first time due to renovation works at Chornomorets Stadium, the annual venue for the title game. FC Daugava was a Latvian football club, based at the Daugava Stadium, in the city of Daugavpils. They lastly played in the Latvian Second League in 2015. They were one of two clubs with the name ''Daugava'' and should not be confused with FK Daugava Rīga. In 2008, they won the Latvian Cup.
