FC Shakhtar Donetsk Junior Squads And Academy
FC Shakhtar Donetsk junior squads and academy are junior teams of Ukrainian professional football club Shakhtar Donetsk. There are two teams that participate in the junior championships of the Ukrainian Premier League. Four more teams participate in the Ukrainian Youth Football League. Brief history FC Shakhtar Donetsk has been fielding its reserve (junior) team since 1949 when the club returned to the Soviet top league (Pervaya Gruppa). In 1953 the club established its own training center in Kirsha. Since discontinuation of the Soviet Top League in 1991, Shakhtar reserve team was discontinued as well. In 1992 based on reserve team there was created FC Shakhtar-2 Donetsk which was based in Kostiantynivka and entered competitions among professional teams the 1992 Ukrainian First League. 2014–15 UEFA Youth League
The 2014–15 UEFA Youth League was the second season of the UEFA Youth League, a European youth club football competition organised by UEFA. It was contested by the under-19 youth teams of the 32 clubs qualified for the group stage of the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League. The final was played on 13 April 2015 at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon, Switzerland, between Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea. Chelsea won 3–2 and secured their first title in the competition. Barcelona were the title holders, but were eliminated by Anderlecht in the round of 16. Players must be born on or after 1 January 1996. 2016–17 UEFA Youth League
The 2016–17 UEFA Youth League was the fourth season of the UEFA Youth League, a European youth club football competition organised by UEFA. Chelsea were the title holders after winning the previous two editions. However, since the UEFA Youth League title holders were not given an automatic qualifying place, and both the Chelsea senior team failed to qualify for the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League and the Chelsea academy team failed to win the 2015–16 Professional U18 Development League 1, they did not qualify for this tournament to defend their title. Red Bull Salzburg won their first title after defeating Benfica 2–1 in the final. Zubieta Facilities
The Zubieta Facilities ( eu, Zubietako Kirol-instalakuntzak, es, Instalaciones de Zubieta), is the training ground of the Primera Division club Real Sociedad. Located in Zubieta, an enclave of San Sebastian (adjacent to the San Sebastián Hippodrome), it was opened in 2004 in its modernised form, although was originally inaugurated in 1981.
