The 2017–18 Ukrainian Junior Under 19 Championship is the 2nd season of the Ukrainian Junior Under 19 Championship in First League. The competition involved participation of several junior teams of the Professional Football League of Ukraine as well as some other football academies. 2008–09 Ukrainian First League
The 2008–09 Ukrainian First League is the eighteenth since its establishment. The Professional Football League (PFL) decreased the number of teams in the league. This season, there are 18 teams instead of 20 teams competing. Two of the teams were relegated from the 2007–08 Ukrainian Premier League and two were promoted from the 2007–08 Ukrainian Second League. To decrease the number of teams in the competition 4 teams were relegated from the 2007–08 Ukrainian First League season. Andriy Kornyev ( ua, Андрій Володимирович Корнєв; born 1 November 1978) is a Ukrainian football manager and professional football defender who is a playing coach for Obolon-2 Bucha. Career Graduating for the Dynamo Kyiv Youth Academy, Kornyev was promoted to Dynamo-3 playing in the lower leagues. Spotted by Obolon Kyiv he moved there, followed by a transfer to FC Systema-Boreks in Borodyanka. Soon Kornyev relocated outside of Kyiv Oblast to Kharkiv in FC Arsenal Kharkiv. Kornyev moved to Tavriya in 2004. In SC Tavriya Simferopol he played 64 games and scored 3 goals. In January 2007, he was purchased by Chornomorets Odesa. FC Obolon-2 Bucha is the second team of Ukrainian professional football club FC Obolon Kyiv based in Bucha. It started in 2001 and played until February 2013, when it was discontinued for financial reasons. The 2013–14 Ukrainian Second League is the 23rd season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competition was consolidated from two groups to one round robin competition. The list of teams was approved by Central Committee of the Professional Football League of Ukraine on 20 June 2013. Final decision was adapted by the PFL Conference on 26 June 2013.
