FC Kiisto
FC Kiisto is a Finnish football club, based in the city of Vaasa. It currently plays in Kolmonen (Third Division). History Vaasan Kiisto was founded in September 1904 in Vaasa Finnish Gymnasiums gym hall, after members of Vaasa Workers Association saw a need for separate Gymnastics and Sports Club. Kiisto started to play football in 1908. In Finnish civil war some members of the club participated as a red guards and as a result club was dismissed from Finnish Gymnastics and Sports Federation (SVUL) and as a result joined newly formed Finnish Workers' Sports Federation. In 1931 Club was dismissed by court as a communist organisation, after playing a friendly match against football team from soviet union. Club was re-founded in 1949 and football was taken again to club repertoire in 1954. ''Ykkönen'' ( Finnish for 'Number One'; sv, Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland. The IV divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Nelonen (''Number Four'' in English and ''Fyran'' in Swedish). Vitonen or V divisioona is the sixth level in the Finnish football league system and comprises 228 teams. The V divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Vitonen (''Number Five'' in English and ''Femman'' in Swedish). The competition There are 228 clubs in the Vitonen, divided in 22 groups of 7 to 19 teams each representing a geographical area. Nelonen () is a Finnish commercial television channel. It started out as Helsinki's local television channel PTV in 1990 on the HTV cable network (now part of DNA Welho), and changed its name first to PTV4. On June 1, 1997, the channel expanded to national coverage and changed its name to Nelonen, the Finnish name of the number four. Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the Finnish football league system, league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finland, Finnish football (soccer), football teams.
